Eight Mississippi County Executives Named to Arkansas Money & Politics’ 2024 C-Suite

Arkansas Money & Politics just released its prestigious 2024 C-Suite, and eight outstanding Mississippi County executives made the list, underscoring their exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to driving growth and innovation.

Clif Chitwood - CEO and President of Mississippi County Economic Development

Chitwood has been heavily involved in the development of two Nucor steel mills, two U.S. Steel mills and a new Hybar steel mill, as well as recruiting companies from the automotive and food and beverage industries.

Brad Harrison - CEO and President of Mississippi County Electric Cooperative

Brad Harrison brings a wealth of expertise to his role as CEO and President of Mississippi County Electric Cooperative. He started his career with MCEC in 2004 as an electrical engineer and in 2011 he took over as CEO.

Christopher Heigle - President of Arkansas Northeastern College

Christopher Heigle's commitment to education and student success shines through in his role as President of Arkansas Northeastern College. Heigle joined the college in 2020 and he and ANC have worked to ensure the college has the lowest tuition and mandatory fee costs in Arkansas. 

Jeff Kmiec - CEO of the City of Wilson

Jeff Kmiec's visionary leadership as CEO of the City of Wilson has been instrumental in driving progress and prosperity in the community. Kmiec is known for his hands-on leadership, as well as developing talent and building legendary teams.

Judge John Alan Nelson - County Judge and CEO of Mississippi County

Judge John Alan Nelson has been the chief executive of the county since 2018 and has overseen significant economic development projects as well as major renovations of the Blytheville and Osceola courthouses, each more than 100 years old.

Phillip Oldridge - CEO and Board Chair of Envirotech Vehicles

Phillip Oldridge is a pioneer in the electric commercial vehicle industry with more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing and distribution of electric vehicles. Previously, he founded GreenPower Motor Co., a Canadian designer and manufacturer of passenger transit and shuttle buses, alongside his brother, and was the CEO from 2011 until 2019.

Randy Scott - CEO and President of Farmers Bank and Trust

Randy Scott and Farmers Bank & Trust have been a proponent of Mississippi County’s “Work Here, Live Here” initiative, which pays 10 percent of the purchase price of new homes purchased in Mississippi County by those working in the manufacturing sector.
