Calling all ghouls and goblins – Halloween is just around the corner! Whether you’re looking for a safe place for trick or treating, an adults-only costume party or a scream-worthy haunted house, Mississippi County has got you covered. Below, find a roundup of some of the county’s spookiest trunk or treats, parties, haunted houses and more to satisfy your sugar cravings and get your blood pumping. 


80s-Themed Halloween Party, DJ and Costume Contest

When: 8-11 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28

Where: Wilson Theater, Wilson

Details: We all loved the 80s, and now we get a night to relive those rad days. At this 80s-themed Halloween party held at the Wilson Theater, guests can dress up in their flyest 80s outfits and enjoy tubular tunes spun by an on-site DJ. Costume prizes will be awarded for best 80s character; best 80s “group costume” (two or more people); and raddest costume. Think Marty McFly, Ferris Bueller, Miami Vice and Saved by the Bell and Golden Girls for inspiration.

Osceola Harvest Festival, Bake Off and Trunk or Treat

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28

Where: Downtown Osceola, on the Square (108 W. Hale Ave.)

Details: If you’re looking for some family-friendly fall fun, this is for you. On Saturday, Oct. 28, Main Street Osceola will host a day-long Harvest Festival. The event will kick off with a fall produce farmers’ market at 10 a.m., followed by The Great Mississippi County Bake Off. Entries for the competition must be delivered by noon, and winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m. A costume contest for adults, children and pets will take place at 3 p.m. and a trunk or treat from 3:30-5 p.m. Costume contest winners will be announced at 5 p.m. on the Son Seals Stage.

Kids Halloween Festival

When: 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31

Where: The Clubhouse, Wilson (3 Lake Drive)

Details: Presented by the Wilson Cooperative Club, this kids Halloween festival will feature candy, games and prizes perfect for your little ghosts, ghouls and goblins.

Trick or Treat on Main Street in Blytheville

When: 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31

Where: Main Street, downtown Blytheville

Details: The ever-popular Trick or Treat on Main Street, presented by Main Street Blytheville, promises a spooky-good time for all. Beginning at 4 p.m., Main Street will be lined with local businesses and organizations ready to serve up sweet treats to all of the area’s little trick or treaters.

Adam’s Estate Trunk or Treat 

When: 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31

Where: Adams Estate, AR-119, Leachville

Details: Presented by the Adams-Vines Foundation, this can’t-miss trunk or treat will feature 20 booths and more than 80,000 pieces of candy.

Haunted Scare Zone at Adam’s Estate in Leachville

When: 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31

Where: Adams Estate, AR-119, Leachville

Details: Aged out of trick or treating, but still love a good scare? Join in the fright night festivities at the Haunted Scare Zone at Adam’s Estate in Leachville. After the sun goes down, you’ll tour the haunted statue garden while encountering your favorite horror villains and a host of other nightmarish beasts and creatures. It’s sure to be a bone-rattling good time.
